What is the Mile Project?
The Mile Project is a local charity developed by Maybridge Community Church to meet some of the practical needs of people living in the Maybridge area of Worthing, West Sussex. It grew from the experience of the church working with the needs of people in this community over many years, and led to a consultation in the local area in 1997 and the formation of the Mile Project as the collective name for a range of emerging community projects. The Mile Project became a registered charity in 2002 and involves a wide range of people who are committed to making a difference in this part of Worthing.
